Is this just a matter of being patient until the OS adjusts to my usage, or are there steps I can take to reduce standby drainage? I watched a few unboxing videos, and noticed something that stands out from the United States videos versus the Worldwide videos.

It seems that a CLEAR TPU CASE is included in the Worldwide videos however the United States videos do not include the case in the promotional packaging.

How about the SCREEN PROTECTOR that we've all come to know and love? Still included as they were with previous OnePlus phones?

Do you all think that this will translate into the retail version? Case...

Here is my setting.
I just picked up my phone from the table and the phone showed the fingerprint icon. I pressed it but there was no response. I mean the phone will not unlock.

My wife has a Oneplus6T with no headphone jack, and I tried to use the usb-c to 3,5mm adapter and then connect the microphone, but the sound from it was not picked up.
Is it possible to connect an external mic to the Oneplus8? Can someone confirm a working solution for this since this is the tipping point for me.
