battery drain over night is dramatically improved in my case it's only drain 2 % over night before update it's 5-6 % over night.keep it up one plus.

where I find that .ota folder
after update installation when I press reboot it's automatically goes to fastboot mod and after so many tries it's boot but update is not done

go to recovery mode choose English go to cache and clear cache
I think you should try with clearing cached that solve problem for many people
I think face unlock is bit slower than on Oreo build give opinion of that
