is it safe to update in this way? or should I wait till i received it via OTA?

in two days this one also will be pulled off due to critical bugs and there won't be any stable update or security patch update for OnePlus 6 users...
Ya finally they released the update but still it's a staged rollout because they want to test it for critical bugs..
