Google has removed cache clearing option from settings menu.... the new Android pie automatically handles cache datas efficiently.
untill your problem resolves...use double tap to wake up feature n den use fingerprint..... I strongly suggest u to once again clear the cache from...
it's weird!! I've never faced this issue.... fingerprint scanner works flawlessly.. just clear he cache remove the fingerprint and add it again......
