who told you that it is a bug. it is designed by Google for A10. it's not an issue or bug. there is a method to remove that space. search in xda...

Hmm, but I think A10.0.1 doesn't have that much bugs than on 10.0...few r facing some issues...few r not..
it is stable version...u can check in website as well. if someone wants to go to beta then u need to do a different procedure..that is little big...
stable version will have oos -- 9.0.17 as Shown..but beta versions will have different name...beta31 etc.
