OP5 works perfectly on OOS 9.0.11. As you may have read here, upgrading to OOS 10 results in many issues which OP will NOT resolve.
The choice is to...
Thanks for your response.
I too am considering moving away from Oneplus.
Pretty unhappy with their software support & general attitude of late.
Which Samsung did you buy?
A9. 0.11makes the phone run trouble free.
There's a switch to show DWB in the app list, turn it on
I'd advise you to remain on 9.0.11
I too have chosen to remain on 9.0.11. Both 10.0.0 & 10.0.1 have impaired the functionality of the phone & I chose functionality over the siren call...
Plz take it to an OP service centre, they'll help you. If difficult to do it yourself unless you're savvy with these things
My sincere advice would be to stick to 9.0.11. There's no evidence yet that 10.0.1 is a good update with no crippling bugs.
Re the Google app I too...
Even earlier one had to go to the logkit section to turn the wifi calling switch on.
It can't be done now?
I'd say stick to 9.0.11 if you want a good relatively glitch free performance.
I've not read any feedback so far that makes me feel safe to upgrade.
Airtel does support VoWifi, so does Jio.
Does it have VoWifi?
Of course you have that option.
If you can't do it yourself, just take your phone to the nearest OP service centre & they'll do it for you.
They hope you'll just give up on a rectification update & buy their nord.
Typical business tactics.
I receive the update notification everyday, so effing annoying.
I've no intention of updating from 9.0.11.
OOS 9.0.11 is the last stable update acc to Oneplus.
Guys, shift back to 9.0.11. Your OP5 will work fine. Don't be so hung up on having the latest Android OS on your phone.
Plz consider downgrading to 9.0.11.
I chose not to install 10.0 & my OP 5 is working fine.
I still have a very smooth & usable phone.
