I have never had any problem with oxygen updates until 10.1. It caused my oneplus 5 to overheat dramatically and discharge the battery from 87 to 10% in 2 hours. It was endlessly trying to load a configuration file and crashing. Stopping the file left me with about 30% viability! Thank god i got a copy of version 10.0 and once re-installed normality prevailed! WTF Oneplus???!

Curious..so you had no problems with 10.0.0? You're one of the very few. There's a separate thread for the update, so I'd suggest you post there and also send a bug report.

Have a OP 5, just Updated Oxygen OS to 10.0.1, using most or all apps it heats up and raises temperature easily. How can I go to the previous OS Version without losing data?

Just updated from 8.1 to 9 and then last version. High battery drain and buzzing/humming sound from camera.... I think disaster is almost the right word for this update...

Strange still is the fact that an support email stated they felt both A10 updates were 'broken'; then a couple weeks later they uploaded 10.0.1 to the software page. For the life of me, I can't figure out why support admits problems with updates then makes it widely available. Crazy!
