Perhaps that video is not in 1080p?

Good point but could it be that on android 4.4.4 1080p isn't supported on youtube? I ask because when i had my OPO it was on 4.2.2 and i could pick 1080p on youtube whereas on my nexus 5 with 4.4.4 i can't go higher than 720p

Not all videos are 1080p especially on YouTube, and Twitch. Could have nothing to do with the update or the phone at all. Then again I could be wrong.

Well that's weird.... >.> From what I'm thinking though, it could be that the video just doesn't support 1080p. :p

I watched videos that I know are 1080p, and have viewed them on my one in 1080p before. Example: Big Buck Bunny, a classic 1080p video.

You can't in uninstall youtube, only revert it back to factory verison., no different. I've tried wiping data and clearing cache too, no luck.

That's strange, any idea on why mine doesn't? I tried the same videos on my one and nexus 5 and the one had the option for 1080p but my nexus 5 didn't/doesn't
