after new OS update battery is draining like hell.. 15% in night itself. and it didnt got fixed automatically after couple of charge cycles and deleting cortona (i'm in india). i already have play services/messenger locations/awakes etc disabled.

so i did this thing which seems fixed the issue..
    1) shut down and clear cache while rebooting
    2) just let the battery completely drain to 0% and let it switch it off it self
    3) charge to 100% without interruption.

and after this yesterday my battery drain during night is 3%.. hope some may find this usefull..

BS. It is not my bloody job to stuff around trying to fix battery drain. Mine was perfect until the latest ota. I did enough poking around getting the phone to last three to four days.

You really need to relax and take a break, i can see the veins on your forehead throbbing. Close your eyes and think of flowing streams and running through fields of flowers.

And would you buy a new car only to find out the computer module in the car wouldn't allow the car to run more than 30 minutes before having to shut down for an hour, fix it yourself. Now come on let's be honest now.

You should have a flip open head then. Then you could let some of that crap that it is obviously full of out. You could lose a few kilos that way.

Don't get me wrong. I love my opo. It has been a great phone. Battery life used to be great, up to just over 4 days. Now, I am lucky to get just over one day.

Implying that Cyanogen OS isn't pest-ridden with bugs that are obvious from the day you install an update. Also, it's the developer's job to get rid of the bugs, not the end user's, no matter how tech savvy the user might be.
