Day 1: Are you excited about the higher touch sampling rate?

Very much so! Using a 90Hz display hasn't been great for battery but it's just been a pleasure to look at such a beautifully smooth running screen everyday. So I can't imagine how great a 120Hz display must be!

In what scenarios do you see it improving your user experience?

    Scrolling through things.
Watching content (120Hz + MEMC) should get a lot better
Although I'm skeptical on support for this, but I feel like the experience of mobile gaming would get significantly better (again, if properly supported)

I'm already using the 90hz on the 7 pro and I absolutely adore it but I have also seen 120hz on the iPad pro and 90 hz is not even close to how smooth 120 is. bringing 120hz to a mainstream flagship phone will absolutely destroy the competition, including Samsung because the panel oneplus is working on makes Samsung's look inferior.

    Day one:

I'm very excited for a higher touch sampling rate! I imagine it will improve the whole UI in general and combined with oxygen OS which is already streamlined for smooth interface will allow for the whole smartphone experience to become that much smoother in even tasks as mundane as scrolling the apps on your home screen!
