In telegram, oneplus gallery, instagram and other apps that support 120 hz it works.
Before youtube it worked at 120 hz now no longer and I don't understand why.

I just tried to put the previous version and nothing does not go 120 hz ... I think it's a problem of oneplus 8 pro

Just after reboot it works in 120 GHz and qhd+ resolution. But in 1-2 minutes its switches to 60 GHz. With FullHd it always 120 GHz.

I tried to activate a setting that is found on utility (hyper motion) and it worked both on qhd and on fhd + but it wastes more battery. But it makes me strange because before it worked even without activating anything

hyper motion works only in FullHd, not qhd+. and its really makes YouTube works in 120 GHz, but only in FullHd. And hyper motion not affected Samsung and Yandex browser in any resolution.
So switched to FullHd and awaiting patch from OnePlus

I have forced through adb 120hz unlock in all apps even those that are unavailable such as Samsung internet. So i cant tell if YouTube went down to 60hz :D

thx, now 120 hz works in all resolutions and all apps. But there's differences in responsibility in scrolling on FullHd and qhd. On FullHd it much better.

I just did it, and honestly it's very cool to use 120 hz in games that support it. By the way it also works on youtube now. My question however is .. Does the battery go quickly?

Im trying to notice that scrolling difference but I cant, can you be more specific about that problem?

What I really notice is that sides are totally broken because those google shit side gestures (I cant scroll on the sides, there is 1 second lag because phone tries to know if I want to start/stop the scroll or do the back gesture), I prefer Oneplus Gestures which I dont know why they removed them
You can use sides to scroll without any lags if you remove gestures and put back on screen buttons.

I'm using buttons. On Qhd, according to my impressions, the screen becomes less sensitive and the scrolling is weird. On FullHd this effect less pronounced. I cant comfortably use device on Qhd and 120 hz due this moment. There's some trends on forum about this problem

I notice that the dynamic 120hz is really inconsistent. When I reboot the phone, YouTube is scrolling smooth at first but then quickly goes back to stuttering, which means the 120hz isn't staying on for that app. The official Reddit app also seems to randomly go back and forth between 60 and 120. Really wish there was an official way to lock 120hz on all the time

+1 .. why block it in the first place.
Seems to be done through arbitrary whitelists from OnePlus side..
