Curious Question, I have a 16 Gig phone, which is not even half full, as it pertains to memory. Wondering why so many people on the forum seem to frown on a 16 Gig version. wondering what some of you store on you phones that consume so much space. biggest thing i can think of is movies or large game files. I personally don't store movies on my phone. but I do have alot of pictures, contacts, smaller videos, and some games, although not large file games. o_O

it depends on the use the person has for there phone, a lot of people use it for there work to store different files and others just like to keep there media files apart from there phone native memory

You do know there is no 32gb version of the OPO? Only 16 and 64. And there are many threads on this topic already if you search you will find them.

I only need 16 gb cuz I'm always backing up to my laptop and I use cloud storage if I need to free up some space in a pinch when I'm away from my laptop

For me a phone is always in my pocket. If I need to transport some data it goes on the phone.
Go to a lake for a weekend I fill up with movies, tv series music etc. Not always you have good enough reception in remote eras to use 3G/4G. I rather use a phone for things like that cause I always keep it with me, rather then relying on usb drives or external drives.

I had a 16 gig phone and it gets used up quick. Lets say you shoot a few videos and don't have time to transfer them to your computer.... it takes up a lot of space. Or you cache a bunch of google music because the signal is spotty on your drive to work, etc

Plus you get peace of mind for only $50 more. Its a no brainer.

I think 16 gigs is good enough, everyone can make it work. But when you can get better for only 50$ more, then obviously you would want to go for that!

Totally in the same boat. I'm starting to think I'm the only person who uses Dropbox, and Google Drive. My Nexus 5 (16GB) has 12.55GB available, and I've got pretty much every app I want and use on it, about 200 photos, and one short video.

It's just because the price difference is so small, for a relatively large amount of space. And 1+1 doesnt have expandable mem, so thats why

    64. Partially because of the space ("flashdisk" with 50Gb availible is better then 10 GB), but mostly because of the color. I prefer black. In this case, it more fits to the phone and makes it more editable to "digital" visually, which I prefer...

ooops! o_O my mistake on the 16 or 64 was thinking 32 because thats usually the next step up from a 16 Gig. thanks for the correction. and yes I understand for the small price increase you get a lot more storage. 16 works for me. but I see many of you may carry more info around with you.

Definitely 64GB for me. My music takes up almost over 16GB and I am not really into online music streaming. I'd probably be using the camera a lot when I get this phone so I would need the large storage for it.

I'm with you music, pictures and video on my phone. I keep stuff in the cloud but I want things available if I have to turn on airplane mode.

I couldn't even fit all my music on a 16, let alone apps, pics, etc. It's all personal preference.

    Exactly...
For Music, I use Google Music and have only a few albums downloaded in my Phone, but I'm going to use it as a camera for my movie experiments (FINALLY!!!) and I am going to buy some professional navigation and maps with it and you need space for this stuff..
For this, 16 GB is hardly sufficient...

Without a microsd slot I think that the 64GB is the one to chose. I will run out of space as soon as I copy all the pictures made with my s4 in it
