A little backstory. Here, in Canada, we only have two legitimately good phone carriers who offer unlimited services. Ill give you an example, from the big 3 carriers in Canada, (Rogers, Bell, Telus) you can get unlimited texting, 500 minutes of talk and a gig of data for $75Cad per month. The big 3 pretend to talk about competition but all offer the same plans. (Its rediculous honestly. They released a sponsored research claiming that canadians like to overpay) On the other hand, two smaller carriers, (Wind, Mobilicity) know the true value of wireless networks, and offer unlimited everything for $30 per month, and $15 for loyalty customers.

The two smaller carrier's networks run on the 1700/2100Mhz 3G AWS band. (Not LTE) 4G is available for an extra $20 but I can't tell if its faster 3G or true 4G, they don't offer info on that.

And so, I was wondering if the OPO will support 3G AWS, which from my understanding, is what T-Mobile runs on. It would be great if someone can satisfy my curiosity, as this may be a dealbreaker for me.

Thank you, I've seen that, but will it be 3G AWS support? I've seen it for LTE bands, but not 3G

As stated above, there should be 3G AWS support seeing how the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC's integrated baseband already supports the band for HSPA+. I would be very surprised if it didn't just like how I was surprised for the Nokia Lumia 930...
