No the software update didn't fix it. They managed to slightly improve it, but the problem stemmed from a physical design flaw.

I bought the OPO and had horrible touch screen problems that mostly made typing very painful. Now they have another grounding problem with the home button?? Everyone has to admit this is ridiculous. I loved the OPO. It had phenomenal battery life and performance, but the touch screen issue was a deal breaker. I ended up selling it on Swappa for nearly what I paid for it.

I don't rly mind the home button issue, if you have the phone in your hand, it is not strange to use the thumb of the same hand to push the button. Apparently the problem only occurs if you hold it in one hand and use the other hand to push the home button.

Thanks man, really did restore my trust. I get the impression that this whole home button issue is literally a few defective units. The slow roll out means Oneplus will be able to iron it out as production continues and those with faulty units get a replacement. Everyone's happy

It is a problem for me when charging the phone, doesn't matter how I hold it I have a problem.

This is similar to antenna gate with the iPhone 4. I tried my one plus one case on the one plus two and all the home button problems went away. Getting a case isnt always for everyone but this a possible temporary fix.

To all of you who have the issues with this ridiculous home button and all other crappy issues with Oneplus and like to return the phone a full refund, please do not create any tickets with them cos it will take forever for them to response. Just simply file case for refund directly through paypal and it will solve the issues right away. Hope it helps
