What's the point of spending so much of you are not even going to use its signature features?

Your decision,of course. But even then.

It all comes down to how much you use the phone. If you get too low on battery switching those settings off is a valid reason, but still, it is the screen that sets the 7 pro apart

I love the design, the camera, the speed, the feel.

I used it for a day with 90hz and high res. Then a day without. I did not see the difference. I compared screen animation between my old OnePlus 6 and 7 Pro, both on 60hz and the 7 Pro was WAY smoother even on juts 60hz.

    Im happy.

Lol it there is a difference... Use 90hz for 6 months and then move back to to a 60hz phone... You will see a diff... You cannot note because simply you don't want to see the diff that's all

Dumb reply. You judging me for personal preferences? If I like apples and you like pears you gonna convince me to eat pears for 6 months as I will hate apples after?

and you're saying you can't see difference between 90 and 60? wow- really cannot see frames drops? smoothness etc.
I was reading somewhere that some people cannot see over 60hz- maybe you're one of them.

Now that's a dumb reply... I told you to try it for 6 months.. I told you to experience the same phone for 6 months... Then it would be like eating the same pear for 6 months wouldn't it? I tried going your way and it sounds very dumb right?

No just very typical response I get. I state I love my phone but don't use 2 of its marketing features and people loose their minds. Even though I enjoy the insane speed, the much better speakers, the triple cameras, the fun pop up camera, the no notch, the fast charging... So just 2 features I don't like but I'm the idiot because they are awesome features.

I can only guess really but I think I would do the same thing on most days (basically when out and about). Battery is pretty much no.1 for me.

only lower resolution...I don't notice the difference that much. 90hz on because the smoothness and speed makes me enjoy this screen so much.
on my s8+ I used also lower resolution....that said it ain't that big difference you gain in battery time.
