It only mean your previous phone had worse battery, doesn't mean the opo one is good, cause it is not (I wouldnt class it as bad tho, just average).

This is a fairly new phone and just like any new phone there will be bugs to fix. We should have faith that they will get these issues fixed. Have faith guys and gals ;)

I became a great fan of this phone.
Only problem that bothers me a lot is the low call volume.

I have my volume set at max, but sometimes it is hard to hear the other party.

I really hope it is a software bug, which is fixable with OTA update.

Mine is July 2 build date as well and mine has none of the issues you mention.

I sold my Nexus 5 and Note 3 after using the OnePlus for a week.

My experience has been the opposite of yours as the OnePlus has been the best phone I have used to date.

    1. Hardware. I guess exchange is the only option depending on OPO dead pixel pollicy.
2.I believe this is a "known" CM issue. Thought they fixed it though. Early reviews mentioned it I believe.
    3. As you mentioned. You haven't dropped calls. Bar status is relative. example
full bar on a device may be between 70-100 reception. Where as the OPO has a higher quality of 90-100. However, this is speculation and experience from other models.
    4. Keep in mind. You usually play CRAZY with a new phone! Also (I had to look your phone up) your old phone has a smaller pixel count smaller screen not sure about the rating of the battery.
Battery life is always hard to compare so many variables they may be doing work on your cell tower many connected at the same time bad weather may give worse reception etc.

Thanks though. It is always interesting to hear a personal review.

some people complained about call volume and signal strength.
If its a software problem, this should happen with every device.
Now I think its a hardware issue. and some phones are defective. OP should be extremely careful about quality control issues and return policy

I'm not having any issues with that. I just found that the earpiece is very positional. You have to find the sweet spot to get normal volume :)

Get the Oppo Find 7a
With the student discount the price difference is not that big any more and you get a better OPO ;) without all the flaws

My work uses BlackBerry's. Before you cough, the OS 10.2 lets you easily side load android apps.

I was considering buying a BlackBerry Z30 for myself since my work only provided me with a Q10, but of course if you compare the speed, and the front and the rear facing camera, well OPO squashes it! But if taking pics is not that important for you then the 8MP Camera might be good enough for you! You can buy them dirtily from Blackberry unlocked now here: http://store.shopblackberry.com/sto...op:Jul2014:wheretobuy:buy-smartphonesunlocked

As you can see a Z30 is $499.00 with inferior specs but is a good workhorse

I reported the poor signal long time ago and the opo fan boys hated on me so bad. I knew it wasn't only me with this issue. But I'm still in love with my opo.

Here are today's stats if you guys still don't believe.
