Is this what anyone else is experiencing? The torch is back to low light as it was on the 22R fixed by 25R and back to this crap light on the 38R

So has anyone figured this out? I feel my torch is also not as bright as it was on 33R. Is there a way that we can control the brightness? Camera flash is bright as hell, the torch app seems like it's less bright.

I'm not really saying anything about the percentage, that's the OP. My torch app is the same brightness as when you set the camera to auto and have the flash set to on. Then when you take a picture in low light the flash will briefly come on to focus then goes to full brightness for taking the picture. Try it out yourself. Let me know if you see a difference?

I'll give that a try. I just prefer to use stock apps and not load up on similar apps that are pre-installed with the phone. But if that's what I need to do to get full brightness, I guess I'll just have to live with it. Lol

Edit* I'm still not getting the full brightness. Might be a setting to make the LED last longer.

Yeah I'd prefer the stock one too, but it definitely sucks after 38R it barely lid up my small room when I used it yesterday..

It wasn't very bright to begin with. My S2 blinded people but this is the exact opposite.

Just wanted to add a voice here saying I'd love a brighter Torch. 3rd party flashlights are brighter. My OnePlus came with 38R so I have no historical perspective here, but I've seen some on this thread mention the brightness has changed through various updates along the way. I hope the next update will deal with this in some way.

I engage the flashlight function from the lock screen, it's super convenient and the limited brightness is a real bummer!
