4K Video Stuttering in Q1 via OnePlus 7

I've recently purchased a Oneplus Q1 TV and to my surprise there is stuttering during 4K video playback in Prime video and hotstar. Netflix handles the 4K HDR content fine and my connection speed is 100 Mb/s so I think speed is not an issue.
The stuttering occurs every 5 -10 seconds so it's really annoying when you're trying to watch a movie in 4K.
Im asking if anybody else has this problem or had this problem and found a fix for it.
I use 5Ghz wi fi, and tried switching to 2.4ghz and did nothing for me. I cant use LAN because its inaccessible at my TV.
Its really frustrating to see problems like this pop up. And I want to know whether anybody has the solution to this problem. If not Oneplus should be notified of this because it pretty much ruins the TV viewing experience for a lot of people.

OnePlus is aware of this issue for the past 3 months. I am not sure if they consider that the issue is from their side. Can you check once by resetting the TV, reason being, the issue is faced only by limited number of users and not all. Shouldn't be the case if it's the issue from the Apps side.

Contacting through mail wouldn't push things that fast though. A chat or call would be the right way. But as far as I know their initial suggestion would be to reset TV.

Ive reaet my tv ans tried it again but still there seems to be the issue of atuttering. I think its probably due to app optimization. So this problem is not common?

I have enquired with almost 20 users and only half of them are having the issue.

Changing wifi to 2.4 ghz made it a little bit better actually. You might want to.try that.

Change to 2.4 ghz wifi. Youll get a better experiance. Its not perfect. Its still a slight problem. Until the app developers or oneplus fixes this, tjis is the only solution we have.
