Like I said, newer used that, but in TWRP you can flash another version within TWRP itself.
So can't promise it'll work, TWRP images you can find: https://dl.twrp.me/bacon/

Yes, fastboot should be the way to do it... If it leaves you with no recovery at all and no possible way to boot to your rom, then just flash a full cyanogen img. (Been there done that)..

I have installed it at 8am . That time my phone battery was 27% now it is 17%. Later I I installed Vanir ROM. So I fell battery is better in this build. More can say after a day's use.

Sooo after a lot of searching around... I decided to go back to the XDA Page of Sultan's ROM and he mentioned the TZ Trustzone thing in there. Problem solved.

Thanks to everyone who pitched in. I will never leave my OnePlus simply due to the amazing community. And @jstepa you were right about the firmware.

Well as we said already it's because of cm reorganization of oppo and oneplus folder device related stuff you need to reflash firmware mentioned in initial thread. There after you can install any cm based ROM.

Need some help, after the 9/30/2015 update I cannot update my phone. I tried downloading from my phone then my computer, neither worked. Then I tried a different ROM and it didn't work either. Help?

I think I have done all of this options, maybe it's because I need to do a clean flash, but I'm waiting exodus 6.0 to do that

I think I solved, It was an app that changed the read ahead of the sd from 512kb to 1024kb, I uninstalled it and restored stock values and now google now search is working normally :)

what I actually did was factory reset and flash the newest CM 12.1 Nightly which has the new firmware, and then without rebooting flashed Sultan's ROM on top of that. But yes, the reason for flashing that was to get the new firmware. I was really freaking out for a second haha
