5 "reasonable" Reasons To Avoid The Wait

    bdamir , Jul 7, 2014 :
    1) There are no rules. It's simple - all invites happen pretty much by chance and/or luck. You can offer backrubs, free lunches but there is nothing that will help - you only have to wait.

    2) Alternatives. There are alternatives that may or may not meet the spec list of the 1+1 but they do not force you into a never ending black-hole. My top recommendation would be Nexus 5 in terms of price and spec outline.

    3) Most users will not even tap into 25% of what this device can do, so don't assume you really need the 4 cores or the camera with Sony image sensor.

    4) I think that most of you have a 4.5"-5" phone. Upgrading to a 5.5" screen means you need a new pair of pants too. Most users will not like phablets.

    5) Grand rule of all. Don't fall into the sinkhole of being a FANBOY. This is a known Apple-like allergy that takes innocent souls (jas101) every day around the globe. Buy a phone based on your needs, not the hype.

Fair points but most of us as tech geeks we want the phone just because it unique and is hard to get.

We all have our own reasons and I'm sure they're all great in our own mind. But yours isn't as good as mine. No way!

Agreed. I also made the mistake of being impatient and purchased from o p p o mrt..... Got 3 of em for fam/friends. After their support told me they would work, they don't. Now I've got $1200 worth of phones and can't get any real help from anyone. I just ordered a Nexus 5. Not even interested anymore.

@Maddizm no they are very much the real thing just the bands are different. I can't get 4G on AT&T or T-Mobile. Other then that, they work great. Trying to recover $$ on that overpriced auction site.......

@wildio Someone mentioned that that OPPO company actually owns 1+1. That would be very upsetting if true.

Yes they are affiliated in someway. That's why the phones are so similar. Oppo and OPO are sister companies... whatever that means. So they share a lot.
