Manufacturers struggle with these decisions to either make a phone with thicker glass to prevent breakage or to make them lighter but then have to use thin glass increasing the possibility of them breaking. My current phone which is the Blu Quattro HD 5.7 is sometimes a pain to carry around because it is kind of heavy but I've dropped it twice without a case on it and has not broken or malfunctioned. Upon getting this phone I would look into getting insurance such as Square Trade.

I feel your pain i have a small crack on the right bezzel of my phone its about 1 1/2 to 2 inches from the bottom of my screen ive also been using handy soft keys and a rotation app. I also managed to fined a keyboard that can move around on the screen. I believe its called minuum keyboard. It llows me to acually use my phone but its kind of a hassle to rotate my screen all the time to. Be aable to press certain things but im getting by.
