It will be announced most likely during MWC (which is February 20th). NOTE that that's just the announcement date. The phone will probably be released 1/2 to a month from that announcement date, so if that's too far away, my previous statement stands.

Eh, not quite a phone upgrade. That's more of another phone with something special about it.
Lmao. I described why I upgrade often in a previous post. And I am single.
    Same as above twice.
We agree on nextbit. I'll look into the mi5. And yeah, seems that way. Thanks!
Definitely!.... The exact opposite of what I want the (the iPhone of course)
Ha-ha. Maybe an upgrade in certain areas, but not on a spec sheet. And nothing special about it compared to the op2

IMO, the OPO can be considered special compared to the OP2 in certain regards. I remember some people who felt the OPO was actually more smooth.

Anyway, back on topic, if you're interested in Samsung, the US unlocked version of the Galaxy S6 is $499.00 on Amazon right now. The 6P is also a great choice.

I would go with the LG V10 it may actually be a bit more but its worth it. its got 2 screens, two front camera, removable battery and microSD. And for me the biggest deal a dedicated hifi digital to analogue converter and amplifier. I think its got plenty of unique stuff going for it.

The Alcatel Idol 4 and Asus Zenfone 3 should be pretty good. There's also the new Moto x and Oneplus 3. I wonder how much the lg g5 will cost.

An X and then I'd pocket the rest for next years Z(?) (I guess Y would work too).

Eh, 6p seems better for now. And I don't see any chance that Google will let HTC make the new nexus this year XD given recent phones by them.
The OnePlus X is definitely a downgrade from the OnePlus 2. I've kinda had my fill with OnePlus devices. They're not bad, but I want to see what a true top dog has. OnePlus never has been an actual top dog. They've always come up short of that title. So I think I'll find out what all the hype with the 6p is for. Ha-ha.

Promises that are full of bugs, 12.1 ? 12 after every single phone had lollipop?
For me? oneplus one is the first and last phone from this company.

Lol. In your dreams. There are loads of phones that got it later, like all the ones that had Cyanogen on it for example.
As for full of bugs, I don't really see that. The bug I've suffered from most is Mobile Radio, and that's an Android bug, not Cyanogen or Oneplus. Other than that, my phone has been excellent for well over a year. Bugs are present in all software, you just have to overcome them with Android or wait for fixes. Don't expect Nexus-level updates from anything other than a Nexus.

Ha-ha. I'll change it to one and add a p to the 6
    Quite a ending statement
Ha-ha. Looking for something can can use internet, not just a mini wrecking ball
Not gonna wait anywhere close to that long, plus I won't be getting another OnePlus device, higher end phones are getting as cheap as OnePlus is, so it eliminates the reasoning there
Lmao. Well, I currently have the OP2, so you mean $500 worth of drugs, here comes the FBI. Lol.

500 gets you a lot frankly. If you're passing down, you have a good reason to upgrade. But in all honesty, I'd wait for the next batch of flagships to arrive. there isn't any real good upgrade from the OP2 at the moment. But with the Snapdragon 820 powered devices coming out, that'll change soon.
