    Nilesh Sajnani , Oct 20, 2014 :
Hey everyone! This is my 5000th post and it's about time I introduced myself here. I'm Nilesh, originally from Mumbai but I've lived in Dubai since birth. I'm an Electronics and Communication Engineer. I work as the Team Leader of Network Operations for an Internet Service Provider here in Dubai and it's been over 2 years. I follow the top European football leagues and also play football whenever I can. I'm a drummer and my favorite genres are progressive/psychedelic rock, groove/thrash/death metal and a bit of alternative/indie rock too. Big fan of the American rock band Tool, I guess that's been rubbed into your faces by now! Great music and Danny Carey is my idol! I have a Roland TD-11K at home which is sadly gathering dust for the past 2 months..I must find more time to practice!

I joined the forums looking for an invite (after my friend purchased his One) just like many of you here and I must say this is a fantastic place! It's the first forum I've ever joined or been active on. I've formed some good friendships here but I won't be tagging people since I don't want anyone to feel left out. You know who you are and you're super awesome! I'm a noob at all things Android and my only previous experience was the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 running some version of Jelly Bean.

    Mini Review:

The OnePlus One is a really great phone (it's my first ever smartphone!). Got my invite from the forum angels on 12/8 and I'm using this phone since 27/8. I'll surely sound biased since I haven't had a chance to try out other flagship devices from Samsung, HTC, Apple, Motorola or Sony. Everything is so amazing about this device. The gaming is smooth and the camera is excellent. Call quality is great, the audio is just fantastic with Audio FX! I'm using the Sennheiser CX-300-II Precision earphones and I've got no complaints with the audio. The display is really good and I've not faced touchscreen issues either. I'll update this post with some sample images later on. The only complaint I have is random reboots that started once I updated to 38R but I've seen some fixes around here so I guess it'll be fine.

I'd like to thank each member who's interacted with me here, from Forum Voices or STAO and generally in threads where I needed genuine help/advice and received it instantly. This is a fantastic community and I hope I can contribute more and keep enjoying myself here :)

Update: Here are some sample images taken by my One.

Update 2: I just received my Xiaomi Pistons v2.1 and they're amazing! Here are some photos of the unboxing. I shall post a short review after a month. I've also ordered the OnePlus Silver Bullet earphones for comparison :)

Bonus: Battery stats on 44S. Quite good I'd say!

    Herrooo dere,
Like you, I've never done an introduction but I'm planning on doing one once I hit KitKat :D

At first I was like tl;dr but I ended up reading the whole thing :p Congrats on having the OPO as your first smart phone. Despite all the hate IOS gets from Andoird enthusiasts, I think the iPhone is actually a pretty good product, except it's kind of overpriced... Perhaps you could try that out next haha @Nilesh Sajnani

Wait a couple of days ( I heard that sometimes these reboots go away by themselves). If the problem does not stop, report to customer service.

Sure thing. The reboots are rare though, not too troublesome.

I also heard that some folks on this forum are waiting for Android L. They think it will fix most of the problems they have now.:)

Herro! Thanks for your time :) I had the Apple iPod Nano 5th Gen, back in college. That's the only Apple device I ever owned and it got stolen the same semester :p I'm gonna try the HTC One E8 as a work phone..no intention of getting an iPhone at all!

Nice intro. I'm just getting to Honeycomb. 5000 sounds impossible to me. Way to go.
