My Organization bands Multiple units of One plus Mobile device. These devices starting to have problem post Android L (5.0.2) OTA update. Below is the finding from IS &T department. I don't understand if the one plus QA team tested wifi issue before releasing. Nexus 5 and 6 with Android L is working fine. The issue is either with Cyanogen or the mobile. I suspect it is Cyangen recent update since it was working fine with CM11S.

    Comment from IS & T team :-

In our recent findings we observed that the cause for network Disruption was due to broadcast from OnePlus One mobile device connected to EFI Wi-Fi network. Until further notice requesting all OnePlus One handset users not to connect to EFI network.

Currently we are working with the Wireless Hardware provider to block such activities automatically. IS&T will keep a close watch on this and keep you posted with the updates.

    Outage Reason

Identified few User Handheld devices flooding our LAN network, which is causing high CPU on Core switches. IS&T has blocked the affected user devices from the network and thus CPU utilization is reduced on core switches.

So you had no wifi issues prior to the update?
Then just go back to KitKat.

I have no wifi issues on my OPO post update.

5.0.2 and 5.1.1 ROMs are experimental / beta (yes, even Oxygen OS). Stick with Official Kitkat and wait to see if someone gets and Android L ROM that works decently.

Please don't mislead people. Cyanogen OS 12 is the official, stable, Lollipop release for the OnePlus One.

Why so? Are you saying that cyanogen inc (led by a very decent, patient and kind person) is incapable of writing buggy codes?
This is definitely more believable than some stories you and me have been hearing about recently:rolleyes:

Let's not start a semantics war. For me a ROM that has bugs that were not present on previous versions should not considered final. I still have to see a 5.x ROM where Google services does not eat up the battery constantly, more than the screen. This does not happen on Kitkat, where I have screen taking 50% of the battery and Android OS 8%, not the other way around. And the "touchcreen issues" fix they want to incorporate in all the 5.X ROMs is basically resetting the touchscreen driver every few seconds, so the phone does not sleep.

Maybe he is trying to get free Opos, or trying to move people away from it, as you can see, he hasn't replied to any of these messages.
