    From reading through the thread, it looks as if the modifications work if you are using Android 10, has anybody managed to get 5G working on the Telstra network once upgraded to Android 11?

    I tried following the steps in the XDA thread but received a critical error suggesting I needed to gain access to the serial port. COM4 so that Efstools work between the PC and phone.

    Hi there,

    The methods we used to enable 5G, volte & vowifi on android 10 no longer work on android 11. However, thanks to numerous amazing people on forums, there is another way to enable all this again in android 11 on our phones.

    Out of curiosity, with the above method does 5G work without disabling the SIM 2? Worried that this method might break the SIM 2.

    Yea, in android 11, seems to allow 5G/4G dual SIM access .. not sure if that's for everyone everywhere though but definitely works that way where i am - IN2020, global rom (NA rom), based in Australia

    Thanks for letting me know. I have the Global Version IN2023 and am in Sydney. I was hoping 5G would have worked out of the box. Wasn't expecting to have play around with it this much to get it working.

    I had successfully used HappyBois method for 5g and VoLTE but have just patched my OnePlus 8 Pro with the most recent OTA Update (11.0.5.5IN11AA) and have not been able to restore VoLTE, 5g is fine. has anyone else experienced this?
