    when is your phone connected to the QPST on windows.. on the top on the program there is tools
    then ..editer then press ok and Wait tell the list shows ..

    you can see policy man .. click on it ..from the list on the right .. delete the 2 Carrier _policy files..

    then add the 2 files you downloaed.

    please let me know how it goes.

    The carrier policy attached here is for OnePlus 8 ..works world wide.

    if you don't need 5G speed , it is up to you.
    you should buy the OnePlus 7 T 🤣

    but some customers they buy the 5G phones only for the speed.

    I bought the OnePlus 8 for the 5G only.

    It is the customers right to choose .

    OnePlus didn't add the 5G policy .. and OnePlus saying it is 5G phone !?

    5G is very carrier dependent at the current state. There is probably a good reason of why it's not instantly working on all carriers. It takes some time to get devices ready and supported strait from factory for all carriers. Compared to 4G network it's not even close to the same level support.

It takes some time to get devices ready and supported strait from factory for all carriers. Compared to 4G network it's not even close to the same level support.​


    On my OnePlus 8 , the 5G wasn't even added to the carrier policy .

    lots of customers they are having the same or similar 5G issues.

    it should be added , then it depends on the location and carrier if there is 5G coverage , or even the customer him self to choose 3G , 4G or 5G .

    Very nice speed :) And very nice my instruction help you to enable 5G.

    One good tip: You can use CellMapper App to record your mobile network real 5G coverage to Crowsourced map .That help to see how good 5G coverage is in your area.
