6T display doesn't sleep

    ssancese , Dec 28, 2018 :

I'm on OOS 9.0.7 and just noticed that my 6T display does not shut off automatically, no matter the timeout setting.
Basically, if I lay the phone on a table when unlocked, the display just stays on indefinitely.
    Any help, please?

is your phone charging when unlocked. I know in developer settings it has that option; I have it turned on so when I'm playing music while working it doesn't switch off.

    No, it's not charging.
I know that option in developer settings, I don't enable that.

Additional info I have found today: display goes dim and off as expected when apps are running in the foreground, but it does not switch off when launcher (Nova) is in the foreground.

EDIT: switching to OnePlus Launcher makes display behave as expected.
I will investigate more with Nova Launcher.

I have the same problem but mine works once in a while. I'm also using the latest Nova beta. Please post any findings and I will as well.

I posted a "bug" on the Nova Community on Google +. We'll see if the developer replies with anything.
