I don't think it works because I'm on a10. when I've bricked it before I've flashed back to international fine.

same problem here!!! I'm on a 6t T mobile converted to international 6t. I am NOT rooted, bootloader is NOT unlocked. I got the Android 10 updated through the oxygen updater app after converting to international. can't use Google pay, cannot find netflix or disney+ on play store.

any international 6ts (not t mobile converts) having the same issue? if international 6ts are having this issue, I'm guessing the problem wouldnt necessarily be related to the t mobile conversion to international?

edit: I am still getting updates on Google play store for Google apps. I thought that without any certification, Google app (Google, Google duo, Google Drive etc) updates would stop as well due to lack of certification. now I'm even more confused as to what's going on.

No update on a resolution. I have root and have tried all fixes except editing the build info inside build.prop, which is what I've seen resolve the issue on a test device. Basically what it comes down to is the build being certified. Now I've been working on getting the correct, non-tmo version but keep getting converts being sold as non-tmo. So I can't test a non t-mobile model. If you guys have been around for a while, you may remember this certification issue back with oneplus 3 getting oreo in beta, if I remember right it was just the first couple builds.

You can get most Google apps without certification. However some require certification (mainly banking apps, however Netflix and some other apps require it as well)

Doing this on the app and quoting is horrible lol anyways, you can use the msmtool no matter what, just make sure you use the tmo version if it's a converted model.

Seems to be only TMobile Converted. As far as I understand, we will need to wait for TMobile to certify our devices for A10 and then the problem should go away. Anyone else thinks the same?

I have a OnePlus 7T and after updating to the recent Nov security update, the issue's still there. Note that I can use all the google services without complications. But then the question is why isn't the device play protect certified? Need a reply from OnePlus.

yes, this will not help. our build.prop file has a device name that is not certified. either you wait for TMobile or root and install magisk.

My device is an International OP6T A6013. I have the issue too -- not a t-mobile convert.

*EDIT* .. or maybe not? I purchased my phone as it is, but according to oneplus's IMEI check, it's a t-mobile phone, but it's a dual sim with no t-mobile markings/branding on it.

    So.. no idea.. whatever.

if your have the same IMEI for both Sims - it is TMobile phone (converted to international ROm). but still TMobile hardware

yep, they sell them on Amazon as refurbished. btw in this case Amazon is just a commerce platform - the actual seller is not amazon.

Any updates on this? It feels so wrong to have these issues when the whole idea of unlocking it to the International versions was to avoid T-Mobile's slow updates anyways.

I think the only solution is to root the phone.

Im rooted with magisk. How do i fix it now?

I tried clearing cache and data from google playstore & services.
Using magisk hide for playstore & services.
None of them are working for me.

Oneplus 6 - Play Protect not certified.... Cannot download any apps that require it. Disney Plus, Netflix, and many others.... Unacceptable OnePlus. ( I am a OP1, OP2, OPX, OP3T, OP5T and an OP6 Owner ).

    Seriously looking at iPhones now.

If you didn't flash your device, or modified it in any significant way, you should contact Google and OnePlus, the issue should be resolved between the two of them.
