I know some people had issues with the 6T on Verizon and was wondering if we might have the same with the 7 Pro? Does anyone know if we have to contact Verizon after getting the phone to have the CDMA - Less added to our account? Thanks in advance.

I just set mine up on Verizon last night with help through their website support chat. Once I told the representative that I had my OP 7 Pro, he took my SIM card number down and said stand. I rebooted 5 minutes later and I had phone, data, SMS, and MMS.

Looks like they learned a lot from the OP 6T and they have the process down.

After putting my Verizon SIM in my OP 7 Pro and re-activating my line I've found that (so far) WiFi calling doesn't work and the phone won't use CDMA even though it supposedly has radios that are compatible with Verizon CDMA bands. I hope they fix this as I live in an area with very weak signal and I rely on the WiFi calling to be able to use my phone in my house.

So I got the option to at least appear on my OP7 Pro I use on Verizon...can't prove that it works yet, because I still can't make a call in airplane mode...but the phone definitely can generate the option and turn it on at least with no issues. I can share what I did if anyone is curious...maybe someone that knows more than me can dig in a bit deeper.

Was this the Chinese/ International version that you are using or the North American one?

NA version - There's a new version of the Oneplus Logkit you can install - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ocJWAxd6CfcHyIso0VNGqvfetTnAdheh

dial the usual *#800# and go to OnePlus logkit>Function Switch> VoWifi - again, it doesn't work for me, and breaks MMS somehow, but it does force the option to appear. Maybe someone here can dig a little deeper.

There's a thread on XDA for the 7 Pro that talks about this and I'm pretty sure that someone figured it out. I'm sorry I can't find the link for that right now, but it should be easy to find

I have 6T on Verizon, activated by doing the Tech call as stated above, and after going around and around with OnePlus and Verizon I have finally accepted WiFi calling does not work. The option shows on the phone but Verizon will not allow it on their network in NA. They won't say why and offer no solution. I tried to do an end run using Google Voice that also uses WiFi and discovered the 6T is too advanced for my crappy Verizon 3G network extender. I would have to buy a new extender with 4G to get Google Voice to work. Ask me again why I am on Verizon.....
I just called Verizon to see if they will activate 7 Pro as a BYOD and their answer was classic....they want me to give them the IMEI number first and then will be gracious enough to answer if it is compatible on Verizon network. Of course that means I am supposed to spend $700 first to see if maybe, just maybe it will work. From above posts it seems it does work minus the WiFi calling, just like the 6T. With the Huawei fiasco, will OnePlus be the next target in the name of National Security. OMG.

I can report that if you correctly go through a device change either through your My Verizon Account or have Rep do it, the system will pick up the correct CDMA-less feature to make it work. Hot Swapping your SIM is all bad. Save the headache! I have this phone on Verizon and it has worked beautifully thus far! However if you live in marginal coverage than beware! But at the end of 2019 they are retiring all of the legacy network anyway so it's honestly a moot point!

LTE coverage does not reach the inside of my house, so since WiFi calling doesn't work, when I get to my driveway I forward calls to my Google voice number and use Hangouts to answer calls that come in. I use Google voice dialer to call out from home.

my 7 pro is working on Verizon.

At first I could not receive calls and texts from other Verizon customers, including my wife who is on my account. call VZdubs and immediately Tisha tried to tell me that of it don't say Verizon on the box it probably won't work. after pressing her a bit, she went to talk to some next tier folks, but came back with sorry call OnePlus.

    found this

when I went to Verizon site, the last step of the activation informed me that I could not transfer my device coverage to the OnePlus, but otherwise fully recognized it as a working phone. it gave me an option to cancel the protection, but would not accept the change. I had to go to the "manage services" area in my account and cancel the insurance there.

about 1 minute later, I recieved a flurry of texts, and can receive calls from the Mrs.

I've recently been looking into buying this phone. I've been researching this problem but have not been able to find out if Verizon has fixed these problems. Does anyone know? Thank you
