7T: brightness keeps changing when using Chrome, Messages

At first, I thought it's the system that's trying to fine-tune the brightness based on the current contents displayed. However, I already confirmed there's no "Adaptive Brightness" selected in the setting.

This has the effect of flashing/flicker that causes eye strain.

    Can you try this:
To disable this open chrome and type the following into the address bar chrome://flags/#auto-screen-brightness. From there you can change the setting from Default to Disabled. This should disable the auto-brightness.

Thanks for the info. However, there isn't such a setting in my Chrome flags.

No it does. But sometimes user use the words or description interchangeably, so probably it must be this.

This issue is so frustrating. Not only in chrome you can see color shift in viber too. OnePlus should soon rectify this issue.

This issue exists in 90 Hz mode only. It's a display fault I guess.
