    Hello, OnePlus Fans!

I recently upgraded to the 7T Pro 5G, and in the past couple of days I noticed that my signal has absolutely tumbled. Where I would normally have a data connection in my rural area, I now get absolutely nothing. When carpooling to work I would watch a video or something similar and now I have no access to even LTE.

My APN settings are fine. My SIM is fine. I honestly just wonder if someone has advice, as I'm worried about the investment in this device and wouldn't be able to get my previous phone back as it was a trade-in .

Hi. We had seen a similar problem with OP7T. LTE would barely work. Would connect mostly on 3G and very poor data speeds.

We fixed it by doing the below two things:
    1. Wipe the cache from the bootloader. Here is a tutorial https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-40182
    2. Then once the phone reboots, go to Settings > WiFi and Internet > SIM & Network > Select the Sim that you are using > Access Point Names > Touch on the 3 dots on top right > Reset to default

My OP7T Pro 5G was also a bit flaky on first boot up. After the mandatory update, I then factory reset it, and it's been a little better.

If you still have issues, reach out to T-Mobile support. They also had to made some changes on the backend to re-provision my SIM, and gave me an alternate APN configuration to try.
