Hi, I've just bought a 7T. Newly installed WhatsApp into it.
Found that it has no problem of receiving pictures that sent by the others.
However, when it comes to video. Let say I received 10 videos. Only partial of them can be downloaded and opened. For the same 10 videos, my oneplus 6 has no problem of downloaded and opened. I used the same version of Whatsapp and settings on both phones are the same. I've tried to clear cache but that doesn't help. Uninstalled and re-installed, still the same. Is it a bug of 7T? Anyone can help?

It is the latest version and nothing wrong with the connection. Both phones used the same wifi. Also, it has nothing to do with the size and video source. Several videos can't download and open are from iphone and android as well as some are large and some are small in size. Only 7T has this problem but not in 6

I'm pretty sure these are things you've tries already but if you haven't already, I'd recommend giving these steps a go.

    - Back up WhatsApp data by going to Settings > Chats > Chat Backup > Initiate a manual backup.
    - Long press the WhatsApp icon from, wherever you have it > App Info.
    - Go to Storage & cache > Clear Storage.
    - Go back to App Info page and Force Stop the app.
    - Open the app and try using it again.

This should resolve the issue, mostly.

    Friendly suggestion: Just use Telegram.

PS: Uninstalling and Reinstalling doesn't help because the app data would still be on the phone.
