ramrules , via OnePlus 8T , Nov 25, 2020 : Recently got a OnePlus 8T I believe this is a recent issue, and the phone was working correctly a few days ago. The phone is not charging / charging extremely slowly on anything that isn't the warp charger. Looking at currents in accubattery I can see that the warp charger is working at 6500 mA However, all of my other 2A 5v chargers are only showing charging between -200 and +200mA It is definitely not a problem with the chargers has I have tried multiple chargers/cables and tested on other phones.
O. Priya , via OnePlus Community App , Nov 25, 2020 : Check the power supply, charging cable, charger and charging port. If any issue is there, rectify it.
Matt 80 , Nov 25, 2020 : Oneplus use proprietary charging tech, so almost anything other than official oneplus will charge slow.
ramrules , via OnePlus 8T , Nov 25, 2020 : I've tried 3 different brand wall chargers and cables, which all work on other phones fine. The charging port is clear and it charges with the 65w charger perfectly. Oddly enough I have a couple of battery packs that seem to charge the phone at their normal rate.
ramrules , via OnePlus 8T , Nov 25, 2020 : I'd expect it to charge slower, maybe at a 10th of the speed of the fast charger. However it chargers at more like 50-100th of the speed, or sometimes not at all.
G_Alfie_Griver_eeZw , Nov 26, 2020 : Facing similar issues here. Totally unacceptable if this is normal for the 8T - we all have chargers all over the place at home, the office, the car and other accessories like power banks.
jarflores92 , Dec 11, 2020 : Same issue here with my OnePlus 8T, I got it almost a week ago and only charges fast with the warp charge 65W power brick and cable. I've attached a screenshot when charging in my car.
