G_Venkat_Gaddam , via OnePlus 8T , Dec 3, 2020 : The screen on the OnePlus 8T doesn't turn off the LEDs on the black parts of the screen while watching videos in any app. This is insane for an OLED panel and for OnePlus to do this This is a huge problem. Hugely drains battery life. Very disappointed with this. Need a fix or an exchange
StefanStark , via OnePlus 8T Aquamarine Green , Dec 4, 2020 : Maybe provide useful information so somebody can give any support We are talking about... - what player / Programm you use? - what file type are you playing? - what quality is this file? - does this happen 100/75/50/less %? - this happens in all programs / only in this case? Don't expect a web player with a screened video file in ultra low quality to get the black values so parts of the display get blacked out...
razzor228 , via OnePlus 8 Pro , Dec 4, 2020 : Does it happen only in particular apps or is it system wide?
