    I have been noticing since few weeks now, sometimes my 8t shuts down at 5% battery, and then while switching on, it shows that the battery is too low, please charge for a while. Please confirm if anyone else faced the same.

    It is not good for the battery to be drained to absolute zero. Look at this as a protective measure.

    Yes you are right , brand new flagship Cellphone 4500 mah and cost 700USD
    Why should we turn on battery saver!
    Company should come with some better updates.
    Should learn from Xiaomi and Huawei. How they make up to increase the battery usage time.

    The battery ammoount on your display is guessed;

    The real voltage values are recognised at the SOC and so the phone shots down at measured values and not fixed tho the percentage displayed.

    Best way to improve battery is to keep it between 15/20% and 80/90%.
    Getting lower does not do damage because your displayed value is not true percentage - if it shows zero to you - there is still enough voltage left to not kill the battery.

    If it can improve with update.. i really hope so. But if it regarding hardware build then we cant hope so much.. i see battery rating on Gsm arena is so poor. 4500mah only get 104H.. Redmi Note 8 4000 mah got rating 108H.. snapdragon 865 and ram so much lower power consumption but it cant get battery rating than Redmi Note 8 with snapdragon 665 and and 4000mah battery..
