Previously I used to see the hardware Mac addresses of all the nearby Bluetooth devices. After I toggled that option (pic attached), I no longer see Mac addresses and only the text name of the device. And it connected to my Bluetooth stereo in car just fine.
Now I will test with other devices.

I have two different pairs of bluetooth in-ear headphones. With both of them, while listening to an audiobook the sound will cut out at random times. Is this a hardware issue with the phone?

I have the 9pro and 2014 Skoda Superb. I have had intermittent "invalid SIM" error. If I start the car with BT off on phone and then turn BT on and manually connect to Skoda_BT I can make the invalid SIM error happen all the time. A Skoda forum suggested not sharing contacts. So, deleted pairing, re-paired with no sharing of contacts and do not allow SIM access. Connection seems stable. My car is too old for User software updates on the Skoda BT software so going to contact Skoda, however this may be a 5G issue as it only happens in the 5G SIM slot, not the 9pro 4G slot (SIM2). Also happens in 5G slot with network set to auto 4g. So seems partially hardware, network and software! Will also raise support ticket with One plus - did you ever find a fix? I'm Oxygen 11.2
