I had a galaxy s4 and htc one m8,fhe thing I miss the most is the ir blaster (and lovely boomsound speakers on m8).
Well is there an accessory for $50 or less than I can plug into my oneplus one and control my TV? I know one company makes some box that you connect via Bluetooth but that is $100 or more. I am looking for something more portable and less expensive. I use to use a Griffin bevan with my iPhone and it was OK ish. So anything more pluggable?

I'm fairly sure you can find a standalone universal IR remote for about $5, why would you want pluggable?

I think that it would be possible with chrome cast. Not sure though.

I wonder if it will work.... The dongle is only a transmitter, it cannot learn any signals. I guess you have apps that come with them pre-configured.

I know this struggle coming from my G2 to the One. The G3 kinda makes me jelly, other than it feeling like hollow plastic compared to the One's chrome, but I'm trying to find a solution to this myself, so I can finally get rid of my G2.

I had one before I switched to oneplus. The phone was too heavy, got hot easily (because of aluminum and I live in Texas), had issues with camera (blurry lens), also hated the assymetrical design, so I sold it on eBay.

Well it felt very compact, had a galaxy s4 and iPhone 5 before it, composed to those phones the m8 was heavy.
