A letter to OnePlus 7 Pro 5G users in Europe

I wouldn't stay hopeful tbh I'm close to just returning mine to the seller as "faulty" and replace it for the 4g

I don't think OnePlus 7 Pro 5G users will see any Android 10 Updates this month. You can either try and sell the device to help purchase a 4G 7 Pro or 7T. Alternativly you can try and see if EE will do an exchange so you can get an S10/Note10 on a good deal or go for the S20 line up.

Words, you may eat them now.

Actually pretty much within their once every 2 month update cycle too considering we also got a security update in Jan.

Hopefully it'll be kept actually up to date from now on. We're actually on the same build as the OnePlus 7 Pro mainline from 3 weeks ago.

it's taken them long enough. let's how they can actually keep the device caught up with the 7 Pro 4G. Also I can see the security patch hasn't been updated to March.

I've just done the same here, strange how some EE devices have received it and others haven't. You'd think they would just push out an EE-wide update to all 5G users.

    C'mon guys.

OTAs are never delivered simultaneously to all the devices.
That's the case since forever and for all manufacturers.

    Mostly for two reasons:

    1) Damage control, in case something is really wrong so they can seize the update before everyone gets it.

    2) Servers load.

android 10 update arrived last night on EE uk.

Battery drain is definitely a concern. Dropped from full charge this morning to 37% already with light use through the day. approx 6-7 hours.

Thank You @clinford86 and @Pete ! Restored faith in OnePlus... Very subtle upgrades and controller support is awesome. Battery actually very stable so no issues here.

    Finally on Android 10 🙌

    Use Oxygen Updater.
There wasn't a 5G device sold in India yet, so I'm not sure what you're asking for?
