    First of all, I would like to apologize for accusing OnePlus of turning the 810 into an 808. I could not have been more wrong. I have new evidence via another app that in fact, the 810 remains with 4 cores while idle. (Which the 810 should)

    Now onto a little bit of research that I have found. We all know that the laser autofocus works, but there has not been much news of anything about the optical image stabilization. My research shows that it is present as feature title: oem.optical.stabilizer.support
    Screenshot_2015-09-03-20-07-34.png but a bit of deeper research shows something shocking. Screenshot_2015-09-03-21-00-21.png
    Apparently the support returns as false for the camera. Hopefully this will be alleviated in a future update.
    I mostly did research on the camera. If there is any more research to be done, let me know and I will get to it.

    New article with extensive research I have posted on this subject:

    Edit Sept. 11, 2015: some have said that OnePlus only added on a image basis. You are wrong.

    Edit Sept. 14, 2015: AndroidPolice got hold of my thread! Here is their article: http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/0...optical-image-stabilization-as-claimed-video/

    Edit Sept. 15, 2015: @Helen has responded to this thread. Here is what she said: #post-13240172

    The software side of the OP2 seems so half baked. Hopefully that mid month update fixes alot of those issues.

    Then it's no wonder the OP2 done so bad in video stabilisation when compared to an s6.

    So it will improve?

    @Adam Krisko
    You might want to pass this on to the development team.

    Same here but part of me doubts it, surely OnePlus devs can't be that amateurish.

    That is interesting. There is one thing/issue/limitation that I have been asking on various threads without an answer. In OPO there is a 4GB max per file size limit, would you be able to check if there is the same limitation on OP2? Thanks.

    I'm starting to wonder if the OS was deliberately nurfed. But why the hell would they do that?
    Maybe they just rushed it in order to meet the deadline.

    Nice find! Sounds like performance can only go north which is good. Fun to see improvements happen along the way with a device.

    The OS team is probably too small, plus they won't open it up for help from the development community with nightly builds to get bug reports. I'd guess people should just dump Oxygen once Cyanogen nightlies are out.
