What are the headline features this time round
. Clearer Photo's ( once the auto focus finally kicks in)
. Witness the power of Dash Charge first hand. (when you pick up the phone whilst charging)

I won't be dialing into this launch.
Seen as I was told to leave the last one because I wanted to hear what the specs were:rolleyes:

I think generating hype is a great idea! Definitely counts towards free advertising. All that aside, while I have the OP3T, I'm not at all thinking of upgrading soon. However, one thing that I'd definitely recommend to OP as a whole and this is moreso with marketing, is instead of releasing (in this case) the OP5 followed by the OP5T shortly thereafter, why not just release the next two OP phones together (ex, OP6 and 6T (if that's what they're gonna be called))? Google and Apple for instance do this. Why? Because it doesn't screw their customers over that way Sure it takes longer to release phones by doing this; however, it doesn't upset your customers because they have a choice right then and there. That way, customers are given two choices, the cheaper alternative to the more premuim flagship, or the premuim flagship right then and there.

TL;DR: Just release two phones at once instead of releasing one phone followed up by it's successor in a few months. Ever heard of the phrase "You pay to be top of the pile for a little while"? That is what directly applies to OnePlus marketing right now.

    this is called business strategy.
they need sales to keep the company up and running. they are competing with other tech giants, and being a relatively new company, they need much much more revenue to expand.
I see why you are so p*ssed at them but what else do you expect from a profit centric firm in such a hughly competitive space?

Why OIS and not EIS. Both should be there for optimal results

I'm curious about the display technology, if it's OLED I may look at upgrading my OP3. I really don't want it to be priced higher than OP5, because that was way too expensive.

if they give both, why not ? but if they put eis and not OIS that's the case which I'm talking about.
