It's that time of the year, where leaks are flowing in one after the other. And when it's about OnePlus, the
hype-train just can't stop
hooooooting, aye! While much of the leaks in recent days are trying to drive us towards the OnePlus 9 series, the Nord series has been buzzing around the world with its many releases.
And now, there are some bells ringing around the successor for the top end Nord – the Nord 2 (well, let's call it that, until we know its official name!)
This time, again, the ghosts from the past are kept busy – remember all those rumors around Nord coming with Mediatek processors and finally landed with
Snapdragon 765G? Now, the leaks indicate the
Mediatek Dimensity 1200 processor, announced earlier this year in January.
This isn't a mid-range processor like the Qualcomm on Nord but a top-line one, coming in from Mediatek that is built on
6nm technology, supposed to be highly power efficient and supporting dual sim 5G
Well, that is all the leaks say, apart from the
Q2 2021 launch. As always, we would suggest you take all of this with a big pinch of salt.
I, for one, can't really tell if I'd like or not like, a OnePlus phone with a Mediatek processor.
