Not that i’m trying to insult you or something but you should research about IP Certification and what procedure devices go through to be certified, you’ll know.

i know that, but not having a certification doesn't mean a phone can't be water resistant.

Buying a bucket and throwing your device in it doesn’t mean it is water resistant, specially when you don’t even tell if it survived.

Because every time you unlock your phone you will see the screen... Screen is much more important than IP rating. Or would you take a phone with 720p screen if it had IP68?

so it's a classical example of another stunt to make your device create hype , which should actually not.

" The warranty is not extended to water damage " .

No manufacturer have water damage under warranty, electric gadgets should be kept away from water at all times..

I'm sorry but a video showing that a test phone survived a fall in a water bucket (with water), doesn't give me guarantee as a costumer, that the phone that I'll buy will be water resistant and that you'll cover any damage from water under warranty. IP ratings and other certificates, are there for a reason.
