Everyone of us knows that there will be bugs in beta updates.
We all signed up for that shit.
People report and discuss bugs in beta threads. What else did you expect? Sexting?
Well tell me now...who exactly is ranting here? Go back to your cave son.

Will you give the guarantee that if they release the beta after taking such long time, their will not be any bugs.

reading is your friend. i know the difference. i said people here are asking for AOD which isn't actually AOD. some are using correct term and most aren't. so when such people interact one will say they have AOD on their op device and others might not be able to find it. so i asked what do you think aod means? what are you calling aod? which op device aod feature are you talking about.
ok, so op8 just got it. (recently), we might get it but i don't expect it to happen soon. For me personally it doesn't matter as well but i can see some people using it. its a good feature. I will be happy if they fix decryption issue so that custom rom development can happen properly or release security update on time. i would rather have one more year of security update and custom roms support then official android updates. but they are not giving any of those so that does make people mad.

can you guess how long it takes to release bug free software. minor bugs will always be there and people will report those. there is no such thing as bugfree update or software. and its open beta, some bugs are expected as well. do you think if they release it after one year then there won't be any bugs? by this logic oneplus 6 series should have zero bugs. lets see how many bugs get reported for op6 devices.

I know we signed up for this & I'm expecting bugs, but what bothers me is the lack of patience people are showing, like I get that we all jumped the OP boat for faster updates & cleaner software, but OP forgot about us the day they started releasing 2+ phones a year & the situation here shows that OP can't handle their shit right & I thought people would've gotten it by now, I hope you understand my pov "DAD"

Op 8 series get AOD feature in the first stable update of Android 11 itself

Of course I can't guarantee that, I'm on your side here but I'm just tired from all the begging for OP to release the update, & like I said in my other comment they just can't handle their shit.

Have the Bluetooth issues been fixed yet for OnePlus 8? I downgraded to Android 10 because I couldn't play cod mobile with my PS4 dual shock pad and couldn't use emulators either apart from retro arch. Just want the stability android 10 brings.. battery is better too on android 10

I'm running the first Hydrogen OS open beta for my OP7 Pro and I'm facing an issue where, on a call, I can't go back to the call menu, so I can't hang up (which is pretty unfortunate, given the fact that this is a... Phone)

Nevermind, I'm using the Google Phone app, and since the Google apps are not preinstalled on Hydrogen OS, I had to disable battery optimisations. So that means this will not happen on Oxygen OS :)

It's been more than 2 months now that OnePlus 7 series users have not got any update. Now i've given up on OnePlus. In future, will never buy OnePlus Device or will recommend it to anyone. No hopes of getting even a Open Beta update for Android 11 by the end of January 2021.
