    Hey everyone,

    We know you’re looking forward to the release of Android Q, and so are we. Here we are, sharing one of many reasons why Android Q is going to be a significant development in your experience.

    We understand how important it is to maintain confidentiality when it comes to data. With Android Q, users can now exercise increased control over private data with privacy rights management.

    When an app requests certain permissions to access data, users can now choose to always allow, allow only while using the app, forbid any access, or don’t ask again once prohibited. Hence, providing a more detailed approach towards personal data and its usage by apps.

    Look out for this space for more exciting stuff arriving with the Q update. Lastly, what do you think android Q would be named? I, for one, can't think of any dessert starting with Q other than "Qubani-ka-Meetha", a popular dessert in Hyderabad, where our new R&D center in India is located.

    Hi @Manu J. , Google has just announced that it will be called "Android 10". So the question of looking for a suitable name with Q is redundant. :)

    Its already released... On the form of a Developer Preview for the overall audience...you can try it out, Just dont expect full stability ;-)
