    Hello Friends,

To kick-off our #TrueColors campaign we created the first-ever man-made ‘Moonbow’ in central London. Shot on the OnePlus 9 Pro co-developed with Hasselblad. This awesome photo was taken by a community member and a professional photographer, Giacomo Matovani. What do you think?

Extremely rare and almost impossible to see with naked eye, typically a rare and natural phenomenon is only ever seen in a handful of remote locations around the world. Typically, a Moonbow only occurs naturally when the light from the moon is refracted through water droplets in the air and is usually too faint to excite the cone receptors in the human eye making it extremely difficult to discern its natural colors. However, using this OnePlus 9 Series camera, co-developed with Hasselblad, the once faint colors of the Moonbow were calibrated and now clearly visible through the lens of the camera, capturing the phenomena as nature intended.

We created this by using high-powered light projections beamed through a wall of mist set under the perfect light conditions of the full moon. The man-made Moonbow took 12 hours of on-site build time, used 60 tonnes of environmentally friendly recirculated water an hour and was created by a high power 20,000-lumen light projector.

Check out the behind the scenes video to see how we did it on our Instagram.

    Ah nice one! ☺️
(Wish I could of seen it in person... 🥺)
Never heard of a Moonbow but I'm aware you can get cloud iridescence via Sun/Moon. They're kind of rare and happens when the sun/moon shines through the crystals/water droplets of clouds. said:
Sometimes it's just worth looking up! 😉

(example of sun iridescence. I did take this but not taken on a OnePlus phone...)
    edit: found some more examples.

Guessed that iphone shots are punchier tend to be brighter and oversaturated at times. You are welcome 👍👍

Was going to mention this too, easily seen in the UK with a bright full moon (clouds allowing of course :p). There always tends to be some water droplets about creating a sort of halo/aura around the moon, even in rainbow colours, if you use your imagination hard enough

Did see some "moon dogs" before from the plane, that was pretty cool. Wait no, it must've been a "sun dog". Let me see if I can find the pic.

    Magnificent?

Please, there's so many more of those here. I haven't been to any OP event since the 1st ever mod meet in... 2017?

What are "sun dogs" you ask? Perhaps @Cakepips knows :D

Check this out (not the best picture I know, the window was quite grimy and smudged too, but hey, still a super cool phenomenon):
