Adapter and chord got soaked with perfume!(HELP!)

    How to dry it up?just leave it for one day?i dont know,when i opened my bag,the perfume bottle was loose already and empty.

    Really bad luck. :(

    Before trying to connect it and dry you could maybe try to clean it a bit with a slightly humid cloth just to remove the perfume from it. Not sure if the perfume can do some damages in the long run to it.

    And then let it dry and then test it carefully, first just the charger and without connecting anything to it and then cable, and if nothing weird happens try the phone, but I would keep an eye for something strange. Because you can't be sure how much perfume may have got in and what damage it may have caused. :(

    Perfume already has alcohol content. Just let it dry. And uses it then as well get the scent of charging for coming months.... [e]1f602[/e]

    Not much oil which may harm circuitry, but for safety it will be fine to use it after one day.
    I guess.

    I would clean it with as pure alcohol as you can find (denatured, cleaning alcohol), then let it dry for a day or two. Using a desiccant (that the right word?) such as uncooked rice, or better silica packs, to draw out any remaining moisture.

    Twirl it around like a jump rope and a force will pull most of the moisture water off , then wipe off any residual or the paper towel.
