Has any one sorted a solution to op6 adaptive brightness? I am surprised even with resent updates it still doesn't work right. It seems too dark most of the time and you have resort to manually setting it. Has any one found a solution? Could oneplus give control you us on how aggressive it is?

Hi just a bit of information oneplus staff and support do not view the thousands of threads posted each day it's all just owners or past owners of devices here.

    So you have 3 options

    1) add to the existing recent PINNED oneplus created update threads with this issue as they started them you have a chance of them reading them

    2) post your issues as bugs

    https://forums.oneplus.com/feedback/

    3) raise an official support call

    www.oneplus.com/support

Moaning about it in a new thread just does nothing

I use that too. Good App. Original Adaptive Brightness is useless.

Too dark. When it gets brighter it jumps hectic. Rather a quick flicker...

    Sorry for my bad English.

almost half of the new features are bug to them. an icon is miss-placed, that is bug for them. some times a simple reboot fixes an issue, still they need to head over community to make a thread. i don't understand this.

I can think of multiple reasons why..
    1. Lack of user awareness
    2. Laziness
    3. Unable to accept the changes
    4. And Above everything else, they feel that they have spent some money on the phone, they own the company and community forum which gives them the right to do utter nonsense they are doing

Btw, thought I should let you know that you did one hell of a job of collecting FAQs and making it available for larger audience. Don't know if people appreciates that or not but surely do, makes it easier to point people to that.
    THANK YOU [e]1f603[/e]

unfortunately, i will have to agree on the points you mentioned above.i don't see many users taking advantage of community, rather they use it as social media to post whatever they want.
and Thanks for the appreciation on FAQs!!:)

I don't have this problem ever. Adaptive brightness is 19/20 times more or less how I would set my screen brightness myself.
