It's just time waste for you to ask and time waste for a moderator to close this thread and time waste for us to read this and comment like this. I saw this request more than thousand times and it was asking for more than 3 years and there won't be any answer or response to this. So, just settle with the two fonts which you got. OnePlus settled long back.

Wait for a fan boy to shout at you now [e]1f602[/e] for saying this. These fan boys are main reason for any company to go down. Dear fan boys, Don't support everything a company do. Try to rationalise some one else's thoughts and give a valid response. if you don't have a valid response, just leave it.

Rooting is not an option in 2020. Don't suggest that just for the sake of a font option. [e]1f64f[/e]

There's a reason new fonts haven't been implemented and rooting is the preferred option.

Thanks for that answer. I really like to know that reason. When other OEMs can give, why not OnePlus? I can accept a valid reason but a loooooong silence from OnePlus is not an answer for that.

Imagine how many fonts they'd have to add for EVERYONE to be happy. Would you want 1000+ fonts to choose from (which could involve costly licensing) or would you settle for two with extra options with root?

We are not asking OnePlus to add more fonts. May be a quality 5 fonts would be enough like Samsung do. Best way to do it is to allow the end user to choose a ttf/otf of their choice.

An another best way to do it is to integrate with a font aggregators like Google Fonts. Let the end user choose a font from Google Fonts. That way, end user can select from 1000s of free fonts there as well as if they wish to buy a license for a font and use, that's possible as well.

Do you want to transfrom 1+ into Xiaomi with endless fonts?

Brother, how can it become like that. Xiaomi has its own store. We are not asking for a theming engine like Xiaomi has and we all know that sucks. OnePlus aced customisation part.

Selecting a font from an aggregator, won't make OnePlus UI any clumsy. It's like selecting a file/attachment from your storage. That is all.

Ok, anyway I wouldn't expect too much from 1+ in this matter, 'cause such questions have been asked for years. So as admitted above the only possible solution for now is rooting your device.
