anyone else getting random adds just pop up out of nowhere ?
some app might be doing that .
Try resetting your phone. Because this is also a sign of virus.
If this is new, it's probably related to a new app you downloaded. Try uninstalling your most recent app, and continue to do so until the adds have stopped.
Settings>apps>special access>draw over other apps. Something in that list is your culprit, probably something you installed recently as others have said if this is a new problem for you.
No, It is not. draw over other apps is a feature of Android which some apps are using to show a shortcut to make quick access (like battery optimizing, ram cleaning etc) and some use it to show videos like VLC player. check installed apps in app store, it it has a warning 'Contains Ads', try to uninstall or go for its paid non ad version.
It's also knows as 'I have installed some rubbish apps on my phone' or installed apps not from Google Play. Not a OP problem.
When you encounter any such ad...
Click the recent option and you'll see the name of culprit app as a header!!!
uninstall it or take away its privileges...
cool thanks everyone for the help!
Great info sharing!!!
But @Hydra Bob was not saying anything wrong...
