The battery section of the settings app in Oxygen OS has not as many convenient features as for example iOS!
    I would suggest following features:

    1. Battery condition analysis:
    - displays the condition of your phones battery (in %) based on algorithms (like iPhones)

    2. Ability to set a limit for the maximum percentage of charge manually on Oxygen OS (80%, 85%, 90%...) to prevent battery degradation and improving battery condition over time!

I think this would need an earlier trigger of the background optimization function or you get preformance issues over time.
When connecting there could also be a pop-up for 2-3 seconds that allows a temporary override for full charges whenever that extra battery would be needed.
Also... This means that we get deeper discharges unless making sure we go charge often enough. And deep discharges is bad too.
So hard to know what you gain or loose in the long run. More than one thing that matters

This would be a brilliant idea and would really help in keeping batteries healthy for us nerds. Love to plug my phone in overnight without thinking about degrading the battery with a full charge and waking up with 80% charge(which is plenty to get through a normal day).

For overnight charging, charge to 80%, then pause charging and automatically start again 30 minutes before first alarm.

There is no point for the battery to continuously stay at 100% over night when a full charge only takes 45 minutes with the warp charger. Keeping it plugged in at 100% for more than 5 hours will degrade the battery life much faster, and decrease actual usage over time.

Most electric cars have this feature when plugged in to charge, Tesla has done extensive research on battery over-charging degradation, our phones should have it too.

It's very easy to implement. Can even be done with some task apps. But this should be something available standard for battery safety and efficiency.

If not always active, at least possible to turn on and off. Or ask when plugged in at night if you would like to full charge or adaptive charge. And only ask IF there is an alarm set for the next day, otherwise always charge to 100%.

This over charging degradation is easily noticeable after just a months of over night charging. Compare your SOT of a new phone to a couple months old phone. It's 100% related to battery charging and degradation.

Probably launching in stable for 8 series. Then it will probably rollout to some older series some time after that
